The 1904 Gold Medal

This 750ml 1904 Gold Medal was the first issue of this Gold Medal serie of 7 bottles. It commemorates the Gold medal Jack Daniel's got on the St. Louis World's fair. For more information about this World fair in St. Louis 1904 and beautiful pictures of that time please use this link.

The 1905 and the 1913 Gold Medal

These two beautiful bottles commemorate the Gold Medal awards they got in 1905 in Leige, Belgium (Europe) and the 1913 Gold Medal from Ghent also in Belgium.
Both bottles where for sale in two different sizes, the US version of 750ml and the European version of 1000ml.

The 1914 Gold Medal

This bottle is the Gold Medal "1914 London England". They started selling this limited bottle at 28 october 2000 and was only for sale at the distillery for about a half year before they start selling it all over the US.

When you buy a bottle at the distillery you get this coin of purchase as proof you bought the bottle at the distillery. There are allready three different coins! The one at the left is the old one and at the right the last coin.

And here is the European 1 liter version of the Gold Medal 1914. Same bottle accept a little larger... It is/was for sale at the online version of the German Lynchburg Hardware and General store for just € 34.00 (jan/april 2006).

Below you see this awesome set sold in Portugal/Spain in Europe. A 1 liter size 1914 bottle with 4 shot glasses is a very nice box.

The 1915 Gold Medal.

This Gold Medal is the 5th in the serie. It commemorate the Gold Medal Jack Daniel's won at the institute of hygiene in London, England in 1915.

The 1954 Gold Medal.

Allthough I received an offer to buy one for $ 38.00 out of Capetown, Africa around December 2004 it should be sold to the public around March 2005 in Lynchburg, TN first. I got my 1954 sample signed from my good friends Martin & Barb McKinney. Martin also sended me some great pictures from Blaney's Nascar car that was standing in the visitors center. I will use these pictures as soon as I got my miniature Nascar car.

The 1981 Gold Medal.

This Gold Medal 1981 commemorate the Gold Medal award won in Amsterdam, The Netherlands (Europe). This was the last bottle in the US Gold Medal line. It's a real nice set all those Gold Medal bottles together!
