The Hall of Fame
On this extra page I show you my 10 most favorite Jack Daniel's objects I got in my personal collection. Some of them are pretty expensive and some are even for free... It's my personal choice... Enjoy!
JeePee

My number one is the original signature of Mr. Jack Daniel's dated 1878. This is something that belong to Mr. Jack himself, he read the book, he hold it in his hands and now it is one of my favorite items and it has a spot in my living room display on eye-highed....

No.2 "Pint bottles, Cameo box & friendship"
My number two would be two bottles I bought way back in time from my best friend Willie. Back when he did not collect Jack Daniel's. I had the luck to buy the Black label version of this rare pint sized 90 % proof cameo cardboard box edition in 1998. When I start E-mailing with his lovely wife Sandy -who sold me this Black label version- she told me that Willie had also this Green label version.
After a lot of E-mailing I made the best deal of my life, Willie's friendship and this Green label pint with cameo box. I still got both, the bottles and my best bud Willie's friendship...

No.3 "Album of Treasures 1960"
On my first trip to the Jack Daniel's Distillery in 1998 I have seen a sample of this book at a display at the visitors center. I allways thought it was a "book" with some kind of recepies of making whiskey.... Later on I found out that is was a "gift wrap" from the 60-ties filled with miniature bottles. Never thought I would own one.. but here it is:

The 1/10 pint before and after and the black label standard bottle are in mint condition, sealed with paper eagle seal and the plastic green colored seal.

No.4 "The Lem Motlow c.1910 Jug"
My number 4 (at this moment) is this jug from the period when Mr. Lem Motlow was owner of the distillery. It's a hlaf gallon sized jug with wooden handle in perfect shape. It's one of the most used jug in the ads publish by the company in the 70-ties and 80-ties. Beautiful small jug with no cracks or chips.

No.5 "Brass barrel stencel"
This next item on my "hall of fame" list is this brass barrel stencel. Great item and used by people at the distillery. I like this item because it's pretty rare and not for sale for normal people like you and me. It's a real eye-catcher in the collection.

No.6 "The 1947 Round black label sealed bottle"
If we are talking about rare items one of the most rare and hard to get item in my collection we are talking about this round bottle. It's a full and sealed 1947 90 % proof black label bottle. There are not many Jack Daniel's bottles made in a round shape. As far as I found out it was only done for a few years. This sample is one of my favorite bottles in the collection....
Most of the "die hard" Jack Daniel's collectors got the 375 ml sample bottles of the before and after charcoal mellowing whiskey. Besides these 375 ml bottles in both fake and glossy sealed versions I got these half pint versions from 1964. These are pretty hard to find and the samples you see below are crispy clean and in mint condition. Sealed with paper eagle-seal and the "after charcoal mellowing" bottle still got some "green plastic" seal left...

No.8 "Cork finished c.1885 Clear glass cilinder bottle"
I love these original bottles from around the century 1880 / 1920. This is one of my favorite clear glass bottles. This sample is from 1885. Perfect, mint condition and more rare as the other two cilinder bottles from that period. It's very rare and valuable!

No.9 "The Samples for making Jack Daniel's whiskey"
Like every Jack Daniel's collector I had wishes when I started serious collecting. One of the things I always wanted to have in my own collection where samples of the ingredients that Mr. Jack used to make his whiskey. So, that's Springwater, rye, barley malt, corn, pieces of charcoal (used for the mellowing process) and off course wood from a used barrel. I first got the charcoal and the springwater bottle(s) which was pretty easy because it was sold at the Hardware and General store in Lynchburg. The other samples where pretty difficult to find but after long time searching I found all off them...
