The Jack Daniel's miniature trucks
On these pages I will show you all the miniature cars that carry the name Jack Daniel's on it.
There are a couple of different brands like Franklin Mint, Matchbox, Ertl, Lledo, LGB and As-kar-ben. I took picture from different sides of the cars incl. there certificates of authenticity.
Lledo LP06. This is a pre-production sample that never made it to the real production. Lledo made a set of 6 truck samples and showed them to the Jack Daniel's company. There where 10 to 12 sets made. This is one of 4 trucks I got in my collection from this set of 6. Below you see the Ford Model T Van. The print on the truck is a Letraset label. Again... this is a promotion model, very rare!
Lledo LP13. This is the second truck in the set of 6. The Ford Model A Van. If you check out the bottom of the truck you can see the words "ional model" from "Promotional model", but the rest is under the number sticker...
Lledo DG70. This is No.3 in a set of 6. The Chevy flatbed truck.
Lledo DG26. No. 4 in a set of 6. The Chevy crate truck. Funny thing with this truck is the crates on the bed... I have never seen "open" boxes with Jack Daniel's bottles! I guess somekind of "limonade-bottle-truck" stood model for this Jack Daniel's truck.... Nice truck by the way...
Ok... now you have seen 4 of the 6 trucks made by Lledo. These trucks are pre-production (promotion) models that are used to get permission for production. I understand when you try to get a deal you make your product an out standing item, the best you can. I took some close up's details from the trucks. You check them and I know, we would agree it's not JD standard... Jack Daniel's stands for quility, "all goods worth price charged", that would mean these trucks are a free gift...
