Dear Collectors...

The year is allready 6 months old and if I look back I did got some luck finding some real good Jack Daniel's items. Thanks to good friends and trustful "strangers" I gathered some real nice items. Again this month I had that luck and bought myself one of my "crown jewels" of the collection... A Glass Gallon Jug from c. 1900!
I consider these jugs (there are two of them...) as the "hardest" to find bottles for a collector with a limited finance source (like 99,9 % of us...).

New this time besides a great old (but empty) cardboard box for 10 miniatures 2 new Ertl Prototype trucks (again...). Check out the newest Jack Daniels bottle, the Scenes from Lynchburg No. 7.
Or what about this Japanese "Tennessee Sunset" ? I collect the Country cocktails from 1998 and I have never seen this one before!
There is also a new page called; Tax label history. All you wanted to know about these little local state tax labels.

Now to give you all a glimp of the history piece I am working on right now. Did you know that W.T. & C.D. Gunter stands for William Thomas & Charles David Gunter? Yes, the piece I am working on is about the Gunter family!
In Nashville, Tennessee, the WT & CD Gunter Company signed on with the Jack Daniel’s Distillery as sole sales agents in 1891.
There is almost no records or items to find about this company and there connection with the Jack Daniel's company. I am working on a real nice piece together with Margaret Gunter (yes, William Thomas Gunter was her great-grandfather!)

On the way Nascar Blaney White Gold Elite (1 of 25) and a Elite (1 of 144) cars and more...

Whieeeee... enough reason to enjoy the site once again and collecting Jack Daniel's items.

Hope to see ya next time !
