1913 Will K. Parks, the Ford Garage
| This a photo of the new rebuilt south side of the square after the fire of 1913. This Ford car dealership was owned by Will K Parks of Lynchburg. This Ford dealership took up for the formost the biggest part of the South side of the square. In the far left of the photo you can see Tan Yard Hill and then the other small buildings at the foot of the hill was the blacksmith shop of Lynchburg and then starting with the new brick building is a barber pole. This barber shop was in the basement of this building and is still in business today. On the top floor starting from the far left is a clothing and shoe shop that is now the Iron Kettle Resturant. The next part of the building is now the Walking Horse Museum and the next part of the building is an Antique shop. |
