The unknown Jack Daniel's collectables
"rare and vintage items"

On this page I will show you items that I have found that are one of a kind items. Items that are sold way back in time or given away for free. I will not show the "famous" glasses we all know, but the more unknow items. I will also use this page to show you items that doesn't fit on the other chapters. (the "funpage" is for the more regular items). Enjoy!

Tooth pick c.1920

Lets start with a item that I had in my hands last year. Never seen it before and you might say this is a "one of a kind" item. Also in mint condition! It's small, it's about 2 inch long and very fragile. The Jack Daniel's toothpick is made of celluloid (an early type of plastic) and it dates to the teens or 1920's. They made a lot of advertising book marks out of the same material at that time.

"Gunter's Tip Top Saloon jug"

The brown mini jug says "Jack Daniel Whiskey" on one side and "Gunters Tip Top Saloon" on the other side. The saloon was in Shelbyville. Dated around the century 1900. I do not know if it was used or as this was just a joke. Could be used as "shotglass". It is authentic and original.

Jack Daniel's Cork Screw drivers c. 1910

From around the same time as that little Gunter jug is from are these Cork screw drivers. It is problebly a free gift back then because of all the advertisement on it. Pretty rare and almost 100 years old (or at least?). I got two different Cork screw drivers in my collection. I have seen about 6 different screw drivers like these....
Nice detail of the first one; Jack's No. 7 -5 and 3 !

This last srew driver is from c.1916 -1920. It tell us that there is a department in St. Louis, MO, Hopkinsville, KY, Lynchburg and Nashville, Tennesee and in Birmingham, Alabama. Hmmm....

Toothpick holder

I had seen them before but never had the change to own one. I made a good trade with a close friend of me and here it is. The Lynchburg, TN Toothpick holder ! To be honoust with you I do not know if it is an old item. It does look old...

1st Corn Mill stone

The first photo is of the original mill stone that Dan Call and Jack Daniel used to crush corn into mill with. This stone came from the first distillery Ole Jack bought from Dan Call and is also the same distillery that he learned how to make whiskey.

The other photo is of the side of the mill stone.

Top of stone.
