The Jack Daniel's miniature trucks

I have made 4 pages filled with miniature trucks. On these pages I will show you all the miniature cars that carry the name Jack Daniel's on it. I'll try to keep up with all the new cars that are sold but will not buy any of the fake and really aweful cheap German trucks that are made at home with a simple piece of printed paper. I would advise you not to buy these German trucks for the simple fact that they will keep producing them as long as you buy them. We all can make them ourselfs... drop me a line if you need a couple of 100 different "German trucks". Yes.. I did buy them myself in the past cause I thought they where original ...for an example please click here

There are a couple of different brands like Franklin Mint, Matchbox, Ertl, Lledo, LGB and As-kar-ben. I took picture from different sides of the cars incl. there certificates of authenticity.

These are the two biggest Jack Daniel's toy trucks there are, each are longer as 30 inch! It's remote controled, it can drive forward and backward, it can turn right and left en the headlights are burning! I shot a picture of the most famous Jack Daniel's truck (the Matchbox PeterBilt) so you can see how big it exactly is. It runs on 6 AA bateries and the remote control has it's own 9 volt battery block. In Germany they sell a little plastic truck with the same printing on it as this big one....

The Franklin mint

The Franklin Mint made this beautiful T-ford replica. Absolute top miniature truck with a lot of detail. Check out the horn, the break, the plastic barrels in the back, the front window that can be pulled down, the head lights etc. etc.

A real beautiful car!

Ak-Sar-Ben

The Smallest Jack Daniel's Trailers are the "Ak-Sar-Ben" custom printed vehicles. Very limited and very rare! They are made from plastic and are about 1" long (2,5 cm) ! Green and Black colored. I only mis the truck that goes with them. (I never saw one before!) AKSARBEN - the first company to offer Custom Printed N Scale Special Run Trucks & Train Cars (No decals were ever used). They produced in Limited Editions of 100 or less (instead of 1200 or more) making a truely unique collectible. They operated from 1980 till into the early 1990s and are well known for printing the tiniest legible details.

Below you see my second black label truck. I really like them!

Sold in a nice plastic box

Very rare !

This next Ak-Sar-Ben could also be put on the "train" page but since it had trucks on the bed I thought I also should place it here.

Enesco

A very heavy car is this one from Enesco. It's not the most beautiful car but okay...it carries the name Jack Daniel's..... Also with 6 barrels in the back.

Code 3 Freightliner pumper

Without doubt this is the most detailed Jack Daniel's miniature truck there is ever made! What a beauty guys you have to have this in your collection. If you look close you can see a labtop inside the drivers place! Real top car and a must have for a serious Jack Daniel's collector. Sold inside a beautiful tin with a certificate with your truck number on it. There are 10002 trucks produced. Scale: 1/64, Release: October 2003

Cardboard box inside a nice Tin.

The striking color scheme of this fire apparatus caught our attention... Most of us are familiar with the Jack Daniels graphics, but have yet to see them on a fire engine! We thought it would be a great opportunity for us to share this jewel of a find with our collectors. It's painted to resemble the old-fashioned Jack Daniel's black and white label but it's anything but old-fashioned.

What a detail!

The original truck below is manufactured by E-one with a 330 Cummings Diesel engine and an Allison transmission.

Code 3 Jack Daniel's Fire Brigade E-One Ladder (pre-sales sample)

This model of Jack Daniel's Fire Brigade E-One Ladder Truck comes also with a BONUS collectors tin. This is a stunning die-cast model of a very exclusive truck. The master stream foam nozzle at the end of the ladder, and on the sides of the truck, makes this model very unique. The black and gold paint scheme is adorned with the Jack Daniel's logo and markings.

This sample you see above is NOT the standard truck sold by Code 3 but a pre-sales sample. The paint job on the drivers cabinet is a little bit different. For the trucks that where sold to the general public the painted the roof white and made some extra logo's on the doors. Aslo they added a extra horn on the front bumber. I hope to find a standard one soon and show more pictures of it.

Release: November 2005. Material: die-cast metal Edition. Quantity: 10,000

Scale: 1/64 , Dimensions: 8.75 inches in length

Code 3 Jack Daniel's Fire Brigade E-One Ladder (original)

Here is the original Jack Daniels fire brigade ladder wagon. Needles to say this is an awesome piece of craftmans ship! These miniature trucks might be a bit expensive but worth every penny. If you got a change to buy or trade one do not wait to long. It's limited to 10.000 pieces.

On the picture below you see the small diferance in painitng work on the pre-sales and the original truck.

Below all three Fire brigade trucks made for Jack Daniels

Front:

The German [official] truck

This is a truck sold by the Jack Daniel's Hardware and General store in Germany. The German Hardware and General store is only online. This truck looks a lot like the cheap homemade trucks that are also sold in Germany (see below). This one is pretty nice and worth the money.

The German "Homemade" Trucks

In Germany they got these little Trucks with "store" advertisement on them. They are pretty cheap made and available in any (yes... any) design you can imagion. Don't support this kind of illegal carbage.

A German "Tanker" full with Jack Daniel's !

This truck was sold around August 2002 in Germany, also for the same company, Markgrafen. The size of this truck is a little bigger (45 cm long)

WARNING ! Again a new line of trucks from Germany. Just a friendly warning, these two below are from the "self made" kind.... Made nice but absolute not to compare with Matchbox or any other brand... And they are making a lot of different prints so don't be fooled!

In this close up you can see the "printer - lines" very good!

Not Official, but fun are the custom paited cars. I got two cars that are paited by Gary's Custom car's from Staten Island, NY. The '56 Ford truck and a the Dairy Delivery Milk truck. Both with the same paint job.

Don't forget to check out the Lledo trucks
